One of the MEN who helped make the .458 Lott pistol work

Has changed web address.

Talk to Dr. Tony if you want things tailored to your hand, not an average hand. He's really good at it. And you can't beat his prices. I'm fond of the 99% there unfinished versions and then I finish them out till they feel like G-d himself made them fit my hands. Tony's bits in the mail are actually closer to 99.7% perfect, in my experience. Bit of sanding and finish and you have something nobody else will sell you or might even be able to do for 10X the price.

URL has been changed on the link to your right.

People kept asking me what my custom Tele was...

Had to have a decal made up...."IT'S A CUSTOM FUCKER WITH A B-BENDER AND EMGs, read the HEADSTOCK. Tole you it was a custom Fucker!."

I bet the fact I went that far to make a point surprises nobody that knows me and amuses the rest.

(Guitar Geek stuff. Me, Dan E, EMG, Schecter, Misc. bits and bats, and too much work to do again unless I do but it'd be a 4k guitar if I bothered.)

FWIW, not allowed at either Baptist, Pentecostal, or Methodist Church Hootenannies and Barbecue shindigs without special "duct tape attachments". Might have been mentioned. Hell they through Blaze out of the Kerrvert Folky Festival and he wrote all the best songs ever come out of there that Townes didn't.

Example B:

Here's one for the modernists I grew up with , as much as I ever did, nearby:

Take it as literally as you want

Good coder and machine buddy. Fag lives in Sonoma. Settled down. Wife. House in the hills:

Dad in Law--
Felt bad. Quarter sized dot on his lung. SF Cop, retired. Used to beat up hippies. I liked him.

Abdominal, chest, pelvic, spread across everything but his brain. He used to patrol Highway 1 and 19 in the Nam. He sad (sic) "this one might get me but we shall see." I'm sending him a Texas Brisket because I want to. Maybe cheer him up. Maybe get the last word on Cali barbecue vs Texas barbecue. Not happy if our argument ends.

If he dies it will be 32 friends and family, mil and not, age and gunshot, that left in the past 28 months and some days all I can do is send people Texas brisket (COOKED AS BRISKET IS SUPPOSED TO, DAMMIT) and pretend not to cry and pray and hope the Pecan helps. I'm sending it return address "USAF and Air Cav brat" to one of the old original Cav.

Getting old sucks, not because you lose your abilities but because you lose friends you will never replace.

I am sure being immortal would suck, but watching friends die sucks too. Catch-22.

Pray for it to be a treatable lymphoma thing where he gets 5 years instead of a few weeks. His name is Larry and God Bless Him.

I'd say more but I need to wipe my eyes.

Patriot Postal!!!!!

"At the heart of the American idea is the deep distrust and suspicion the founders of our nation had for government, distrust and suspicion not shared as much by today's Americans. Some of the founders' distrust is seen in our Constitution's language such as Congress shall not: abridge, infringe, deny, disparage, violate and deny. If the founders did not believe Congress would abuse our God-given rights, they would not have provided those protections. After all, one would not expect to find a Bill of Rights in Heaven; it would be an affront to God. Other founder distrust for government is found in the Constitution's separation of powers, checks and balances and the several anti-majoritarian provisions such as the Electoral College and the requirement that three-quarters of state legislatures ratify changes in the Constitution. The three branches of our federal government are no longer bound by the Constitution as the framers envisioned and what is worse is American ignorance and acceptance of such rogue behavior. Look at the current debate over government involvement in health, business bailouts and stimulus packages. The debate centers around questions as whether such involvement is a good idea or a bad idea and whether one program is more costly than another. Those questions are entirely irrelevant to what should be debated, namely: Is such government involvement in our lives permissible under the U.S. Constitution? That question is not part of the debate. The American people, along with our elected representatives, whether they're Republicans or Democrats, care less about what is and what is not permissible under our Constitution. They think Congress has the right to do anything upon which they can secure a majority vote, whether they have the constitutional or moral authority to do so or not." --George Mason economics professor Walter E. Williams

Fred Reed Knocks Another One WAY PAST THE BLEACHERS

Read and laugh.

Dad's a Light Colonel and Uncle is a Ranger/SF/Medic that made it to stars and Bush's cabinet. If you served at Ft. Sam in the past few decades, the starry eyed one was probably one of your ultimate bosses.

I've watched this dance before. I Ain't unpatriotic, but I like the realism of a non-deluded NCO and brethren.

Where to find a trophy

Thanks to Canadian Military Topo Maps circa 189x..getting their asses handed to them by Boers who just wanted to be left alone. Should have stuck to crabbing off Newfie-Land or at least bought your own Mausers! Nice map though and came in handy once.

A Day Came

...when I should have died, and after that nothing seemed very important. So I have stayed as I am, without regret, separated from the normal human conditions.--Guy Sajer

I think he had some Mobile 100 in him. Like it or not.

Off to the MACHINES!!!!!

Musical interlude for you. I forgot I liked this song until I played with Rip, and we used t jam around on this one even if we were Texas Outlaw Redneck Racist Hippy Gunsmith Types. Rip's worse than me, being a horrid racist white boy from Carolinas where my kin were Infantry before they grew up and moved to Montana and Texas and such...Ray W Hubbard called us Hipnecks and Redpees, but he was always a smart aleck (and he always was nice to his monitor engineer and paid when he got paid, Rip too as far as me picking with him, good dude)

:-)

I got nothing to say, that's why there's youtube:

Time to go make large pieces of metals into smaller and more erudite versions, Sartre and Tolstoy paperbacks available with machine work at minor extra charge.

Dig the grooves, man! Sent to you by not your average "stereotyped" Texas smith. Enjoy.

This goes out to Archie Bell who was humping in the Nam when his record he recorded before leaving home charted. And half the people in the Nam didn't believe he was him. Tighten Up!
